10th Sarawak State Election, Politics

It is the Tenth Sarawak State Election which will be held on 16 April 2011. I will be back to cast my vote for the first time since I registered myself four years ago. I will leave KK tomorrow night after work and meet my brothers that will come all the way from KL for the same reason too. Firstly I am excited going home tomorrow and it is not because of the election but simply because I will be at home with my family. It is my first trip going back after three month transferred to KK.

Nevertheless, here is two of the candidates that are now trying to win my valuable vote. Actually they are trying their best to gain valuable vote from the whole communities in N16 Bengoh.

So, who is going to be the one that can bring in development for our communities. Previous People Representative @ wakil rakyat did not run his work up to our expectation and honestly I definitely want changes for real. But then again, I need to think Pro and Cons about every decision that I made as 1 vote of mine can make a different. That is what I believe in.

1 VOTE CAN MAKE HUGE DIFFERENT

One thing that I dislike most is whenever it comes to election season, politics people tend to make sweet promises. They can be seen here and there on the ground, meeting the communities with sweet smile and showing off their gratitude towards them. Not only that, donations comes in like nobody business. But then they will no longer on the ground after the election. Nobody can see them anymore until the next election. I only hopes that villagers/communities can see the whole scenario like what I see and wish them make a good judgment and cast their votes to the one that deserve it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: My kampung is still lack of clean pipe water supply. We are still depending on natural water resources from nearby mountains. Whenever it is dry season, we turned to nearby river for our basic need. You cant imagine what we have been going through all of the years until now during dry season. :(
I am so frustrated none of the wakil rakyat do anything about it.

Calvin Klein Eternity

Calvin Klein Eternity is our current love scent. This happened to be a coincident gift exchange for us actually. I have plan to buy him a perfume set by Calvin Klein as his birthday pressie. Then in two days before I depart to KL during the weekend, he told me that he got Calvin Klein Eternity for Women from one media night that he attended. I was like "Perfect" when I knew about it. Definitely I'll get that Calvin Klein Eternity for Women for myself while he will be surprise with his own birthday gift that I bought for him. He did fall into the surprise. He did not expect me to buy him any birthday pressie as I've told him that my trip to KL during the weekend is his birthday pressie from me.

Hopefully our relationship will last eternity.

In the Cockpit with Pilot

A lifetime experience that I encounter during my last traveling on air. I was being invited by the Capt. Zuri to be with him and his co-pilot in the cockpit. It was my return flight from Tawau to Kota Kinabalu but had one stop transit in Sandakan. I was with my colleague Nurul Ain on that return flight which during the transit period, we were having a conversation whereby she were wondering if we can actually take picture or pay a visit to the cockpit. So I being myself, bravely asked the on duty steward if we actually can take picture with the pilot. He then convey our request to the on duty pilot. Of course he say YES..we can have the meeting in the cockpit but can not take any picture in there. He told us that he will let us know when will it. I thought it will be after we land safely in KK. But then I was wrong. I was taking my short nap when the charmed steward wake me up and told me that the Captain would like to see me. Definitely it is not after landing. I called up my colleague Nurul and tell her about it but the steward say only one person can go it. Since Nurul were not feeling well so I took the opportunity.

I walk pass other passenger following the steward from behind. In no time.. I were there in the cockpit area. They actually invited me to sit in with them through out the flight until we land in KK. I were so excited like a little girl getting herself a nice princess gown....I got the chance to talk with both pilot. Surprisingly Captain Zuri is living in the same neighborhood with me. Small world indeed. heeeee... Talking about what I seen and experience inside the cockpit is something that I would really treasure it since that visual memories is the only thing that I had with me. The night view of KK from the cockpit is so amazing. We were flying at 6700 feet above sea level and slowly the plane making it turn to the left toward the KK. When we were about to land at the airport, Capt. Zuri asked me to hold on both side of their back seat with my arm for precaution only...heeee.. hold on the pilot's shoulder also can right... :D

I too listen to all of their conversation with airport tower and I were quite impressive with their professionalism in the conversation. Even until now I can feel the excitement in me being with them in the cockpit. At least I have story of my own to tell my children and grandchildren.. :D
