Postcard

Collecting postcard is one of my latest hobby. This is all started when EmilaYusof , CK and I tweets each other about exchanging postcard whenever we going for our vacation abroad in our last. It is one great idea of sending postcard as souvenir from abroad. Since then, I started posting them the postcards and our first one is during my vacation in Bangkok, Thailand. More story about my recent trip here. Then whenever I found out about any of my friends that going abroad, I will simply ask them to send me a postcard. So, there goes one of my dearest blogger friend, Roxychick with her postcard for me. Then later, Shemah told me about this PostCrossing.Com that is so the right place for me to get more postcard from all over the world. According to PostCrossing.Com, the goal of this project is to allow people to receive postcards from all over the world, for free. Well, almost free! The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world.

You may wonder how does it works. Well, it is so simply by just;


1. Request an address from the website
2. Mail the postcard to the address
3. Wait to receive a postcard
4. Register the received postcard in the system


More info about it here. They even have a group of Malaysian that enjoying this postcrossing project. I bet they must have quite interesting postcard from different places that you cant imagine it to yourself. I think this is the right place for me and my new hobby; Postcard. You cant measure your own feeling, the element of surprise when you receiving a postcard by mail and not from e-Mail.
