I Stopped Writing. You Somehow Kept Reading.

Hi. It’s been a while.

Actually…six years.

My last post here was in June 2020, right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. I wrote about working from home, celebrating Raya quietly, missing family and adjusting to what was, at the time, a very strange new normal.

And then… life happened.

Days became months. Months became years. Work got busier, family life moved along, priorities changed, and somewhere in between all of that, this little blog became very quiet. I honestly thought everyone had moved on too. Until recently, when I logged back into Blogger.

592,000+ all-time views.

I had to look at the number twice.

What surprised me even more was seeing that people were still visiting the blog. Old posts were still being read. People were still finding their way here through search engines and old links—even though I hadn't written anything new in years.

And that made me think. Maybe this little corner of the internet deserves another chapter.

So… what now?

A lot has changed since I started blogging. And obviously, I have changed too. I'm older now, hopefully a little wiser, and I'm at a very different stage of life.

These days, I find myself thinking more about wellness, family, work, growing older, taking better care of myself, and simply trying to create a life that feels good—not necessarily one that looks perfect.

I also have new interests, new experiences and plenty of stories that never made it onto this blog.

So MARVICN is coming back.

Not as a perfectly curated lifestyle website. Not as a place where I'm going to pretend I have everything figured out. And definitely not as a blog where every post is trying to sell you something.

I just want this to become my space again. A place to write about life, wellness, family, work, things I love and everything in between. Some posts may be useful. Some may be random. Some might be personal. And occasionally, I may look back at something I wrote 15 years ago and wonder what on earth I was thinking.

But that's also the beauty of having kept a blog for this long. It's a little digital time capsule of who I was. And now, perhaps it's time to document who I'm becoming.

If you're still here…

Thank you.

Whether you've been reading since the old blogging days, stumbled across one of my ancient posts through Google, or somehow found yourself here for the first time—welcome.

MARVICN is awake again.

Let's see where this next chapter takes us.
