My Own Favicon

I read Kujie entry on how to make your own Favicon. Click here for her entry on Favicon. In short, Favicon is a favorites icon  or also known as shortcut icon for website, URL or bookmark icon. Most of bloggers have their own favicon since 2009 and as usually I fashionably be among the last of group to put up my own favicon. I goggled with MR GOOGLE..for the Favicon tutorial for dummies like me..hahaha. until I found blog of Ayu Candy -  GulaGulaBeracun for her simple tutoria l on favicon. She put up this entry June, 13 2010 and only be found by me a year later.. Still many thank to this sweet girl for her simple tutorial. I actually used the only profile picture that carry the brand name of NotesByMarvic which is created by Emila Yusof . You can always contacted her if you want to commission her to make one for you. Bead Works

  Dam or Ketupat I has kept this bead work in my art box for 2 years. I think I should finish it up. It is not for me but for someone else. Sorry kakak for the SUper DUPer delay... However, I took off the beads and decided to resew it back nicely. As you see it here, the beads was not properly sew and I am not satisfied with the outcome. Hope after this I can sew it all and make it a worth for that kakak.. :p Meanwhile, I am counting days for a vacation to Bangkok, Thailand with my mom and dad. This is their first vacation outside from Malaysia. Here is a story about my mom. When she just got her International Passport last monday, suddenly she said that she really wants to go to Australia.. Then my sister said Australia is a great place but she would prefer Bali compared to Australia. Then my mom add that Bali is also one of many places that she want to visit too.Pity mom that my sister has no intention to bring her along to her Bali trip next year.. I guess it will be me who...

Sometimes During Work 2

Sometimes during my work...I do have the moment of boredom as what I'm experiencing right now. Currently, I am here in Tawau for this government program for the 1Malaysia Community Expo whereby the company have to participate to show some support to the state/federal government. This time around, I'll be here until Monday. What do we offer to the public/consumer at our booth?... Usually, we provide some general info on local varieties of paddy and rice in Sabah, aside of having sales booth for our rice product which conducted by our JV Co. in the East market of Sabah. Sometimes, we conduct some interactive games for the public to enjoy and win themselves some of the rice product. But then it is all depends with the crowd. As today, the crowd is not here yet...but we are expecting more to come later in the evening...while waiting, I just simply indulge myself into this free sauna provided by the Mother Nature... :p  p/s: sometimes i do give up with my work and want to be...

We fly them both all the way from KL only for the occasion. Here some of the snapshot in between my work.. most of it is at the backstage. He need a haircut. Family Reunion During Gawai

Other Malaysian may knew about Gawai Festival as Harvest Festival for the Ibans, the Bidayuhs and other Org Ulu in Sarawak. This festival does reflects the same meaning and purpose for Kaamatan Festival in Sabah. This festival is another celebration that need to be carry out for the young generation to get to know about our native culture and ancient history behind it. But for me, this celebration is about reconnecting families from all generation regardless of different beliefs and races.  Why is that so??? ...Because all of us lives and work at different part of Malaysia and some comes all the way from other country. Every each of us committed to make this 1st time Reunion of The Basen Family is a success...All four generation gathered around and enjoying ourselves with so much news update among each other.
